Deal-to-Approval
A run starts when a deal wants terms the standard ones do not cover: a discount past the threshold, a non-standard term, an unusual structure, an exception to policy. The processes here review what is being asked, price the risk, get the approval of whoever actually carries that risk, record the decision with its reason, and hand back either an approved shape or a refusal that says what would change it. Speed is part of what this stream produces. A desk that takes a week teaches sellers to work around it, and the exceptions that never reach it are the ones that cost money.
