Performance-to-Tier
A run starts on the review cadence the program sets. The processes here measure what a partner actually delivered against what the plan said, apply the tiering rules, set the margins, discounts and support that come with a tier, tell the partner where they stand and what would move them, and act when a partner has stopped performing, including ending the relationship. A tier is a promise about how the company will treat somebody, so the rules have to be published and applied the same way to everybody, and most of the work here is in making that true.
